An interest in oral health and health promotion led me to study Bachelor of Oral Health and graduated as a dually qualified dental hygienist and dental therapist from the University of Otago in 2017.
I began my working life in Wellington, working for both the District Health Board and a private practice where I was exposed to a wide demographic of patients. I am passionate about educating and supporting patients through the oral care process. I am currently a part of the New Zealand Dental Hygienists association and New Zealand Oral Health Theapists Association that help keep me updated with education programs, seminars and conferences.
Outside work, I enjoy cafe hunting with friends, going to the gym and travelling.
