Born in Korea, my family moved to NZ and made Christchurch our home when I was 12 years old. I studied Dentistry at Otago University and graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with credit in 2007. l spent a year working as a dental house surgeon at Wellington hospital gaining skills in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and providing dentistry for medically compromised people.
Following that I also worked 2 years as a general dentist at a private practice in Invercargill before moving to Christchurch, where I joined the lovely team at QE2 Dental in 2011. I have enjoyed coming home to Christchurch (even after the earthquakes!) where I grew up and went to school.
Outside of dentistry, I love travelling and many outdoor opportunities the Canterbury region has to offer especially skiing, mountain biking and tramping.
