Our most commonly used option. Tooth-coloured, durable, and bonded directly to the tooth for a natural and aesthetic finish.

Release fluoride over time and are often used for children or in non-load-bearing areas.

The Dental Filling Process

The filling is polished and adjusted to ensure
a natural bite and comfortable finish.

Finishing
Touches

We begin with a thorough examination, including x-rays and digital scans to determine the extent of decay or damage. We'll discuss your options and recommend the most suitable material for your needs.

Examination

The decayed or damaged portion of the tooth is gently removed. For composite fillings, less tooth structure needs to be removed compared to amalgam.

Preparation

The filling material is selected to match your natural tooth colour. Composite is layered and shaped to blend seamlessly with
your tooth.

Shade Matching
& Application

A special light is used to harden the composite in layers, bonding it securely to the tooth.
